Trey Jamison is principal and managing partner of Chase Dominion Advisors. Trey works as a retirement plan consultant specializing in providing retirement plan design assistance and consulting services to a broad range of businesses across multiple industries. Trey embraces an investment fiduciary role, providing advice in the best interest of clients.
Trey is passionate about helping employers resolve challenges in today’s rapidly changing regulatory environment as he assists employees in pursuing their important goals for retirement. He has helped businesses implement prudent processes that seek to help reduce fiduciary liability and plan expenses, meet specific plan objectives and improve retirement outcomes for employees.
Trey began his career as a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial in 2006 and started focusing on retirement plan consulting in 2010, when he joined Chase Dominion Advisors. Trey earned his BA in Economics from the University of Virginia. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, signifying the application of the Global Fiduciary Standards of Excellence. Trey received his Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), the largest association for retirement professionals. In 2021 and 2023 Trey was named to the NAPA Top Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40*.
Trey is originally from Franklin County, VA and has lived in Richmond for over 15 years. Most of his time outside work is spent with his wife, Liza, and three daughters, Charlotte, Nora and Libbie. Trey has a history of volunteering support to local United Way organizations and has received honors for community service activities. He loves all outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, biking, skiing, boating and soccer.
